In honor of summertime, I have decided to write several blog posts about some of my favorite places that I have been to so far. I thought I would write about going to Gatlinburg, TN this week since we were there just last week!

My family and I rented a cabin up in the mountains because we all just needed to get out of the house for a little bit! We had some incredible food and beautiful scenery everywhere we went while we were up there. We got to tour the Titanic museum and it was extremly sad but it was also interesting at the same time! We even got to see the violin that belonged to one of the muscisians on board that ended up dying that night of the wreck.

One day, we drove through the eleven miles of the national park Cade's Cove, and it was absulutely beautiful! We ended up seeing five bears, two deer, and one turkey. It was amazing to see God's masterpiece in person! The mountains were a great escape and my family and I were happy to go up there. I would highly recommend going up to the mountains if you just want to get out of the house for a few days!
